How To Take Part In Local Meetings is AFSCME'S short guide on how to participate in Union meetings. We encourage all members to attend our Local 543 Union meetings. They are held the second Monday of each month from September through May. The times are posted on the Union bulletin board in the chow hall.

(Note: Not everything in this policy pertains to us since some items are covered by our contract. One example being they can not terminate our employment until we have been out for 24 months, not the 12 months for non-union employees. Another is we only have to return for 60 days before going back out for the same injury, not 90 days.)
